Top 5 Auto-Buy Authors

We all have authors that whenever they release a new book we'll but it regardless of reviews.
So I thought I'd show you my top 5 auto-buy authors.
The images included have all been posted previously on my bookstagram account.

1 - Meg Cabot
I have been a huge fan of Meg Cabot since I was in high school. I have read all of her books and own pretty much 90% of her work.
I dont know what it is about her writing style, but I love it. She's able to create stories that can be relatable, lighthearted, with pop culture interwoven.
I already have her next book on pre-order and I can't wait to read it!
Here are some of the books I have on my shelf, whilst the remainder are in boxes in my storage unit.

2 - Richelle Mead
Ever since I read the Vampire Academy when i was in my last few years of high school i was hooked not only on the series, but also her writing style. Since then, I've read her Bloodlines series, which I loved.
I have also bought her The Glittering Court series and the first books in her Dark Swan and Georgia Kincaid series, but havent had chance to read the complete series just yet.
3 - Sarah J.Maas
I first discovered Sarah J.Maas about 4 years ago. One of my friends had purchased Throne of Glass, and I read the synopsis and I was hooked.
So I bought the book myself and read it in a day. I then purchased all of the other books in the series that were out at the time along with the first 2 books in the A Court of Thorns and Rose's series.
I think I read all 6 of the books in the space of 1 - 2 months and then I had to wait for the remaining books in each series to be released over the next few years.
Since then I have purchased her Catwoman stand alone and her newest series, I havent read them yet, but they are apart of my list to have read buy the end of the year!

4 - Leigh Bardugo
I was late to the so called party on Leigh Bardugos books. I had purchased all of the Grisha Trilogy, and had both books in the Six of Crows duology and had even bought her Wonder Woman standalone but hadn't read a single word!
I finally took the plunge last year with Shadow and Bone and absolutely loved the story and had to consume all 5 books in the Grisha verse before purchasing King of Scars. But in the space of 4 months, I was obsessed with this world and Leigh's way of writing, that when she released Ninth House I had to buy it!

5 - Tricia Levenseller
Tricia Levenseller is the newest addition  to my auto-buy authors list.
I read her first duology Daughter of the Pirate King and Daughter of the Siren Queen last year and I loved her writing.
In the past week I have read her third novel Warrior of the Wild and started her 4th novel The Shadows Between Us and I love how she builds her characters and her worlds and just generally lover her storytelling.
So much so that when she next brings out a new book, I will be first in line!

Please feel free to tell me some of your auto-buy authors!

Vanessa 😀
