Week 9 of Lockdown

9 weeks of lockdown!

Saturday 23rd
After last weeks emotionally challenged week, I went into this week hoping for a change.
Because of last weeks meltdown my sister and .y brother in law were a little worried about me, and as I'd made a lot of cookies the previous day I decided to go over to their house and sit in their garden and have a socially distanced chat.
The thing I love about going over to my sisters is that time flies and we can talk about anything and everything, and it was lovely having some time with the kids. Lola even told me that she wanted me to stay, as she had made some space at the bottom of her bed for me...even though I'm adult sized and I may not fit!

After I got home I made a pizza, as Cooper and Lola had made some the previous evening and had been telling me about it and I really wanted some!
After tea I decided to start watching White Lines and played The Sims, not sure what time I went to bed, maybe 1 or 2ish in the morning but by that time I'd managed to watch half of the series, it was very good!

Sunday 24th
As of todays date, I woke up to realise that I'm in the final month of my 20s, as come 24th June I'll be hitting the big 30!
Maybe that's why I Had a day in bed watching the remaining episodes of white lines, in denial about my age?! 😂🙈

After I finished White Lines I decided to continue on with listening to the audio of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone being read by different people on Spotify. I dont know whether it was the soothing voices of the readers or I was shattered from the late night or a combination of the 2, but I fell asleep listening to the 2nd chapter.

By the time I woke up, it was about 5/6 in the afternoon and I hadnt eaten anything, as my appetite had once again vanished, but I decided I needed to eat something so I went and had some toast.

When I'd done that, I decided that I was really enjoying listening the Harry Potter audio and considering it was on my TBR list for may, I decided to start reading it from where I left of.

Monday 25th
So today is the final Bank Holiday Monday of spring and our last one till the end of August.
I spent the morning continuing on with my Harry Potter re-read.

In the afternoon I went for a socially distanced walk with my friend Nay, which helped with some of my anxieties that I'd been experiencing last week.
It helped a lot, so much so that we arranged to go for another walk the following saturday to Mow Cop.

When I got back in I had my tea and read for a bit before watching the first half of the film Yesterday.

Tuesday 26th
As it's a Tuesday it can only mean one thing... A food shop for my Nana!
I don't know whether it was because it was a bank holiday yesterday, but tesco was really busy, the past few weeks that I've gone, I've barely had to queue, but today the queue was half way round the carpark. One thing I will say is that it did move reasonably quick.

Once I'd dropped my shopping off with nana, I had to nip across to the home bargains for her as she needed some lights for her back garden.
One thing I will say about going into home bargains in congleton during lockdown, is that it isn't as efficiently run as Tesco's.

When I got home I decided to finish off the last half of Yesterday, it's a really nice film and I love the music from The Beatles, so that's a plus!

After I'd finished Yesterday I wanted to start a new tv show, so I decided to start Top of the Lake. It was such a good show and although I guessed some of the plotlines, it was a really intriguing addictive show, so much so that I started and finished the first series of the show, before deciding to get some sleep!

Wednesday 27th
Wednesday was a mixture of starting and finishing series 2 of Top of Lake. Again there were some plotlines that I guessed early on, but it was such a good show that I cant believe that they only made the 2 series.

Once I'd finished the TV series, I decided to spend the rest of the day finishing up Harry Potter, as I am determined to read all 5 of the books on my May TBR list and I only have Escaping from Houdini left.

Thursday 28th
Tursday was a bit of a mis match day. I spent some of the day helping my mum with her IT problems for work, I spent some of it watching The Witxher on Netflix and reading Escaping from Houdini.

Friday 29th
When Id done my nanas shopping on Tuesday she mentioned that she wanted to some meat from the farm as I'd done for her last week, so I went down to the farm and bought her the meat she wanted.

By the time I for back home it was about half 1, so I had some lunch with my mum, before going back upstairs to watch a little bit of DCs Legends of Tomorrow and reading a bit, before getting ready for a zoom birthday gathering for my lovely friend Hannahs 30th birthday.

So this week has been a lot less emotional and a lot more boring. I do have a feeling that last weeks issues may crop up again before lockdown is over, but I just have to learn to let people in.
But I hope you've all had a good week and are staying safe.

Vanessa.

Week 8 of Lockdown

This is the start of 2 months in lockdown for me.
And this week has probably been my hardest mentally and emotionally.
I dont normally mention anything to do with my mental health or my emotional state to anyone either physically or on social media, as I dont want to bother anyone and everyone else has their own stuff going on, but as I'm recording all of my lockdown activities, it feels redundant not to mention my feelings.

Saturday 16th May
Saturday was a pretty quiet day for me. I spent most of the day continuing on with my watch of New Girl.
I really loved watching it years ago, but I stopped watching it, as I used to forget when it was on! So I'm really enjoying my rewatch and watching the episodes I missed, and as they're only half hour episodes, it means you finish alot more than you would if they were an hour long.

In the evening of Saturday I decided to treat myself to my first takeaway from lockdown.
Honestly it was so yummy! But since lockdown started, my appetite has dramatically decreased, even more so this past week, so unfortunately I couldn't finish it all of my burger.

Sunday 17th May
I had another lazy day on Sunday, I think its becoming a habit! But i did finish New Girl!
I did enjoy the final season and i was happy with how it ended, but I would have loved to have seen more from their flash forward.

I then started The Switch, which is such a good book!

Monday 18th May
So Monday....what can i say. Monday was the start if my bad week.
Having finished New Girl yesterday, I didnt want to jump straight into a new TV series, so I decided that I would see what films I'd previously started on Netflix a while ago but hadn't finished. The first film I had was Sandcastle which starred Nicholas Hoult and Henry Cavill. After I'd finished watching that one I went and had some breakfast, 2 crumpets.
I then went back up to my room and decided to watch another Henry Cavill film, Night Hunter, which also had Ben Kingsley in it. I really enjoyed this one, it was a crime drama, which I really enjoy any way.
I didnt do any reading or watch any other films after the film had finished, I just didnt have the energy.
By about 5/6 hit, I thought I should go and get some tea, but my feeling of having no energy extended itself to not having an appetite at all, I hadn't even snacked throughout the day, but the thought of even just having a piece of toast made me feel nauseous.
After this I decided to go back to my room, but I just couldnt focus and just felt that my ability to care was at an all time low.

Tuesday 19th May
After Mondays low point, I was awake at 7.30, but I still felt really low.
But I did manage to read some more of The Switch.
Because I still wasnt feeling great, I decided to go for a walk, to see if that would help bring my mood up. I decided to go on a different route than what I'd done previously, which was a nice change.
But it didnt really help much in regards to how I was feeling.
When i got home, I had my tea and read more of The Switch.
I tried to get some sleep, as I'd felt tired when I was reading, but sleep wouldn't come and I dont think I dropped off till after 3am.

Wednesday 20th May
As I've mentioned in previous weekly blogs, it doesn't matter what time I've fallen asleep, I'm still awake between 7 and 8.30.
I woke up feeling slightly better than I had over the previous few days.
I spent the morning watching Taylor Swifts concert that had been added on to Disney plus.
Whilst I was watching the concert I was reading The Switch as well and when that finished i segued into the singalong Disney shows that they had shown over in the USA, and whilst watching and listening to the music I finished The Switch.

After I had finished reading I didnt really want to read anything else so I decided to do some painting.
This was the first time in a while that I'd felt like painting and I'd previously bought myself a small canvas that when I'd been doing nothing but painting I'd wanted to do something bookish on it.
So today I decided to do something related to my favourite quote from A Court of Mist and Fury, after being inspired when I'd done something similar for my friends little boys scrap book.

So I took a photo of it, which is below, I really like how the image came out, but not totally sold on my painted lettering.

Whilst I was painting I decided to catch up with the final few episodes of Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.

Towards the end of the afternoon we had a visit from my sister, brother in law and the kids on their evening walk.
Whilst they were here, Cooper and Lola were playing with their hula hoops, and wanted me to have a go twirling the hoop round my arm, so I had a go, but it flew off and hit Lola in the chest. And because of social distancing, I couldn't give her a hug, I could only apologise and ask if she was ok, and this triggered a slight emotional breakdown. I burst into tears and just couldn't stop, the awful thing was that Lola also burst into tears, because she thought she'd made me cry.

Because I was in such a mess, and couldnt stop crying it also made my sister cry, because we're so close and she couldn't do anything as she knows I've struggled with my mental health, especially with depression in the past.

After my little breakdown I read a chapter of Escaping From Houdini.
Most probably due to the late night on Tuesday and the emotional evening, I was very tired and I think I fell asleep around 10.

Thursday 21st May
I woke up on Thursday and hoped I would have a better day, but as with Monday Id lost my appetite again and couldnt stomach the thought of eating anything. I managed a round of toast for tea.
But i decided to have a TV catch up day. I decided that I really wanted to catch up on NCIS LA, which is due to have its final episode on sunday and I hadn't seen any past episode 4! Whilst i was watching NCIS LA I spent the time playing the Sims.

Friday 22nd May
I woke up on Friday and felt a marginally better. But I had errands to run for my nana as she wanted some shopping so I nipped to the local farm and after my enjoyment of painting on the canvas on wednesday I nipped into home bargains and bought some more. I decided to buy some in different sizes.
Since lockdown started I've been wanting to make homemade cookies, so I found a recipe on line and decided to make some!
They turned out really well and I'm really impressed with myself, as I would normally use a packet mix.
Whilst I was baking I decided to listen to the first chapter of Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone narrated by Daniel Radcliffe, hes really very good at narrating the story, I really loved it!

Towards the end of the day i decided to continue with my NCIS LA catch up and continued playing the Sims.

Writing up this week has been hard for me, I wasnt sure if I wanted to, which is why it's taken me a while to post it. But I hope you've all had a good week and keeping safe.

Vanessa.

Week 7 of Lockdown

7 weeks of lockdown! How am I nearly at 2 months of not having barely left the house other than for essentials or dog walks?

Saturday 9th May
When my sister was here last week, we were talking about pancake recipes, as I'd made then the previous 2 weeks, and she mentioned a Canadian fluffy pancake recipe, and we decided that on Saturday we would both take the recipe and make pancakes, and call each other and see how they turned out.
I did mine, they were ok, they weren't as fluffy or as thick as the recipe advise they should be (I didnt have all the correct ingredients), so they weren't as good as what I'd made previously. My sisters however were really good!

On saturday I decided to branch away from my period dramas and put on New Girl on Netflix. I used to watch this when I it was on the TV but didnt get chance to see the final few seasons before it finished.

Saturday evening turned into a thunder storm, and I decided to finally pick up one of the books from my TBR list, Hold Back The Tide by Melinda Salisbury. I read a few chapters before falling asleep.

Sunday 10th May
Sunday morning was spent reading and finishing Hold Back The Tide, oh my goodness, it was such a good book, so many twists especially the ending!

I then tidied and set up some space to do some photos for bookstagram, but I just couldnt muster the energy to actually take any, so that will be my plan for later in the week.
Whilst I was doing all of this, i continued on with my New Girl marathon, as the episodes are only half an hour, you get through so many episodes!

I was going to try and read some of Escaping from Houdini, but I just didn't have the energy.

Monday 11th May
Monday morning was spent reading one of my Mills and Boon books that I started about a week ago, but because I havent been wanting to read anything its just stayed unread, but on Monday morning I finished it!

I went downstairs once I'd finished to get some lunch and ended up helping both parents with their work. One I helped with some issues on PowerPoint and the other i helped input some data.
Whilst waiting to see how they were getting in, I took some photos of Barlow, hes very photogenic when he wants to be!
This is how he sleeps sometimes when mums working.
I don't know whether he was trying to kiss me or lick his nose!
I blew in his face on this one, to try and get some of his fringe out of his face, he wasnt impressed!

When I'd finished providing technical support, I went back upstairs and continued watching New Girl.
In the evening, I spent some time watching tv and the news with the parentals.
And then I went to read some more in bed.

Tuesday 12th May
As you've all come to guess by now Tuesday is....(imagine a drum roll) food shopping day!

As I've also mentioned previously, I haven't slept past 8.30 during the week since lockdown began, today was no different I was awake at 7am. And I didn't need to be out the house till 10 to do shopping.
So I spent the morning finishing off my 3rd book since sunday.

After 10ish I nipped down to tesco to do my nans food shopping. Shopping was done reasonably quick today, barely any queues to get in, which was a first.
By the time I got to nanas, my mum text me to get her some eggs and some flour, so once I'd dropped the shopping to my nans, I nipped over the road to Home Bargains and Aldi.

I got home just after lunchtime, spent half an hour with my mum, then I went to my room and watched some more new girl.

Wednesday 13th May and Thursday 14th May
Wednesday and Thursday were spent pretty much the same. Reading Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson
in the morning and spending the rest of the afternoon watching New Girl. And then I spent the evenings reading Good Girl, Bad Blood.

Friday 15th May
I spent Friday morning finishing Good Girl. I would definitely recommend this series, I loved the first one, it was one of my favourites of 2019.
Since some of lockdown was eased, the dog groomers we send Barlow to re-opened, and because he was a very knotty boy, and he gets bitey when we try and brush him, so we took him to the groomers to get a 'trim!'
Here is his befor me and after:
He looks like a completely different dog!

I spent the remainder of the afternoon watching New Girl, I'm determined to finish this show!
We then had a visit from my sister, brother in law and the kids as they were on their daily walk.

So that was week 7! It's starting to get a little same same, so I'm hoping you're all still enjoying reading what I've been up to!
I hope you're all keeping safe!

Vanessa

Week 6 of Lockdown

So im heading into my 6th week of lockdown this week.

Saturday 2nd May
Saturday was a lazy productive day!

After last Sunday's pancakes, I started off by making some more chocolate pancakes!
After spending some time with my mum I then headed up to my room to do some more work on my quote project, with some catch up tv in the background.
I watched an episode of James Martin's Islands and Highlands as he was in the Isle of Skye, which is where I visited nearly this time last year.
This is me there last year!

I then moved onto the latest episodes of Zoeys Extraordinary Playlist and Riverdale.

Whilst I was watching tv, and I was doing some final touches to my quote project, I created the below pictures for my niece and nephew. Cooper is a huge superhero fan and Lola likes princesses!
I ended the night by watching a few episodes of Poldark.
Sunday 3rd May

Sunday was a baking day with my mum. Mum really wanted to make a lemon drizzle, but we settled on lemon butterfly cupcakes with a lemon curd centre and lemon icing and some vanilla and strawberry butterfly cupcakes with a strawberry jam centre and a strawberry icing.
They were quite nice, I preferred the strawberry ones, as the lemon ones were too lemony for me!
Whilst we were baking Barlow sat in the lounge and glared at me!
My sister, brother in law and the kids popped over in the car to drop off some cakes and we gave them some nice cakes and sausage rolls.
Whilst they were there, I gave them their pictures and I asked if they wanted any more and was asked for another superhero logo from Cooper and an actual drawing of Belle from Beauty and the Beast from Lola! Being wrapped round their little fingers I said yes!

I then spent the remainder of my evening watching a couple of episodes of Poldark and The Last Kingdom.

Monday 4th May
Monday was another morning of watching The Last Kingdom.
In the afternoon  I took Barlow out for another walk, we had a nice wander around the local playing field.
Tuesday 5th May
Its Tuesday, so that meant one thing! Shopping! I needed to nip to tesco to get some stamps to send my friend the quote project, as I didnt have any, I thought I had some but, I didn't!
Whilst I was getting the stamps, I got some blank cards. So that I could send both my nans a card, so that they get some nice post, and know that even though I do shopping for them, I'm thinking of them.

Whilst I was writing out my cards and getting all the post ready for to take to the post box the following day I continued my watch of The Last Kingdom and finished the current season.
I'm hoping this isn't the last season, as I got hooked! Either way I downloaded a sample of the books the show is based on by Bernard Cornwell to my Kindle (like I need more books adding to my library!)

Wednesday 6th May
After yesterdays completion of The Last Kingdom, I really wanted something similar to watch, so I tried to watch Vikings on Amazon Prime (I'd watched the first half of the series a few years ago and enjoyed it). However i just couldnt get into it. So I put Netflix back on and tried Reign. I watched the first episode and was intrigued how they were going to proceed, so thought I'd give it a go.

Towards the later part of the afternoon, I got my letters and took Barlow for a walk to the post box.
We ended up going on a different walk, but we found our way back to the pond below and Barlow was such a good boy, not even a bark or anything from him when a horse passed us.
Thursday 7th May
Thursday was another TV day! I started off with catching up on Riverdale and watched the film Dangerous Lies.
We then had a lovely visit from my sister and the kids, as they were on their daily walk. I was then asked by Lola, if I'd done their drawings from them, that I'd promised earlier in the week, I hadn't done them, but promised I'd get them done this weekend.

I then spent the remainder of the day watching Reign.

Friday 8th May
Friday was a bank holiday in the UK celebrating VE day.
My mum decorated the front of our house with bunting and flags.
I decided to spend the day doing my drawings for Lola and Cooper.
Here is the drawing of Belle I did for Lola, she looked alright, until I tried to put her eyelashes on and draw her nose on....then she turned a bit weird!
I cant show you Coopers The ATOM logo as I forgot to take a picture of it.
Whilst I was in my drawing mood, I also decided to do a special drawing for my lovely friend Lauren, as she found out earlier in the week that shes having a baby boy in a few months time.
I'll send this in the post to her on Tuesday when I do my nans shopping.

A lot of our neighbours, my parents included were having socially distanced street parties, I'm not a very sociable person at the best of times, so I stayed in the house, with Barlow
who was really depressed that he couldn't go outside and sit with mum, that he sat like this instead, waiting for her to come back in!

So that was week 6 of lockdown, its frustrating that I'm now getting used to all of this free time, and dont know how I'll adjust when we get back to a working week!

I hope you're all having a good week and staying safe.

Vanessa.

Week 5 of Lockdown

So it's that time of the week again, what did I get up to on my week 5 of lockdown?

Saturday 25th April
So Saturday started of with a surprise visit from my sister, brother in law and the kids. They'd come out for their daily walk and to drop off the pasta dish from Wednesday and to give us some cake.

After they left, I updated last weeks weekly lockdown blog and set that to live.

I then spent a bit of the afternoon going through my Kindle, to see what books I had on there, as I had quite a few unread books, and a lot of samples of books that were just clogging up the home page. I also got a bit bored and played around on snapchat!

I then spent some time looking at photos on my phone, as had lockdown not been on, I should have been going to the Wales Comic Con Telford Take Over, which has been rearranged for August.
The above photos are from when I went to Wales Comic Con in December.

After tea, I went up to my room and decided to catch up with Zoeys Extraordinary Playlist, as I'd left it for a few weeks, so I had some to binge!

I also read a bit of the first chapter of Divergent, after watching the film the other day.

Sunday 26th April
Sunday I had a bit of a lie in, I then decided to make some american pancakes for my lunch.
I then sat outside with my mum for a bit, whilst she did some gardening.

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine from high school, recently had a baby and was making him a lockdown scrapbook, and she asked if would do something for it, so I've been collating some of my favourite quotes from my auto-buy authors and from books I've read over my time through lockdown.

Creating the first of my quote pages, was quite nice, as I'm trying my hand at drawing, painting and lettering.

I then took Barlow out for our daily walk
We did have to cut our walk short, as it started to rain.

When I came back, we had tea and then I decided to work more on my quote project, and had Dinnerladies on in the background.

Monday 27th April
On Monday I continued on with my quote project for my friend, so far I have 4 A5 pages with 1 or 2 quotes on and drawing relating to the quote or series of book. I have a few more to do, but I need a couple of days to finish them off!

Later on in the evening I continued my Dinnerladies re-watch, if you've never seen it, I would definitely recommend it!

I also decided to do some more painting from my Canada colouring book.
Tuesday 28th April
On Tuesday I did my fortnightly shop for my nana.
I forgot some of her shopping and she wants some fresh meat so I'll have to nip out later in the week to get those bits and pieces for her.

When I got home had a bit of a tv afternoon watching The Last Kingdom on Netflix. I'm enjoying it, even if it's a bit violent!

Towards the evening I did some more painting from the Canadian colouring book.
Wednesday 29th April
On Wednesday I had a The Last Kingdom watch day, it's quite addictive! You can't just watch the one episode!

Throughout the afternoon in continued on with my Canada colouring book.
Every time I look at this one, I want doughnuts!
I like how this one has turned out!

After tea I partook in a virtual Harry Potter quiz, which was fun and a good way to pass the time.

Thursday 30th April
Thursday was my reading day! I had some of my Mills and Boon Kindle pre-orders arrive, and because my will to read this week has been at an all time low, I thought I'd have a go at reading one of them....needless to say that by the end of the day, I'd read 2 and got half way through a 3rd of those books!

At lunch time though, we had a visit from my sister, brother in law and the kids, as they were on their daily walk. As much as I love speaking to them on the phone and video call, and I know I can't hug them or anything and even though it's only for 10 minutes, I love getting these surprise visits from them, it actually makes my day!

Friday 1st May
Pinch Punch 1st of the month!

So it's the first day of may and also a full calendar month of Lockdown has ended!

Friday was a very busy day! I was out about 10ish to go to tesco
and do a small food shop for my nan, of the things I'd forgotten and get her some fresh meat from the farm shop we've been going to.
By the time I'd done all the shopping it was about dinner time, so after I'd had some lunch I did some technical work for my mum, she'd been having some issues logging into her works app, I have been helping her on and off all week with some technical issues shes been having.

After I helped her, and she had gone back to work, I went to my room and decided to take some photos for my bookstagram,
and then wrote and completed my blog post for my April Wrap Up and my May TBR list.

I then finished the night off by reading some more.

So that's week 5 over and done with, I hope you're all keeping well and keeping safe.

April - Wrap Up and May - To Be Read

Prepare yourselves for a long read!

So it's the 1st of May, and what better way to start a new month of reading than to show what I read through April and to show what I'm going to try and read in May!

APRIL - WRAP UP
As you may remember at the start of April, I created a TBR list of 4 books:
⭐ Havenfall by Sara Holland
⭐ Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levensellar
⭐ Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco
⭐ The Stars We Steal by Alexa Donne.

Throughout the month of April I read 6 books, and 2 of them, surprisingly were from my TBR list!
The books that I read were as follows:
Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levensellar (4.04.2020 - 7.04.2020). I really enjoyed this book and the way that Tricia writes and builds her world and characters.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levensellar (7.04.2020 - 12.04.2020). This was another brilliant book by Tricia. I loved the concept of this book it had a strong female lead who had her own mind. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco (12.04.2020 - 19.04.2020). It took me a while to concentrate on this book, my attention span kept vanishing! However when I focused on it, I really enjoyed it, even though I guessed the culprit early on, there were still twists and turns. ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
Family For Beginners by Sarah Morgan (23.04.2020 - 24.04.2020). I bought this book on a whim, as the blurb looked good and it was only 99p. I read this book in 6 hours. The storyline was written from 3 perspectives, it wasnt confusing if anything it made it more of a compelling read and wanted to know what was going to happen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Secret Kept from the King by Clare Connelly (30.04.2020 - 30.04.2020). I love a good Mills and Boon romance novel, and this was one of the good ones, really well written with enjoyable characters. The other thing about Mills and Boon books is that they are nice quick reads.⭐⭐⭐

Crowning His Unlikely Princess by Michelle Conder (30.04.2020 - 30.04.2020). I really really enjoyed this book, it had a nice bit of angst and ended with a lovely happy ending and the characters were really well written. ⭐⭐⭐.5

MAY - TO BE READ
As I mentioned in last months TBR, I very rarely stick to my TBRs but having read 2 from last months and some anticipated reads that came out in April, I have high hopes I'll read 80% of this stack!
So what books do we have:
📚 The Switch by Beth O'Leary - I absolutely loved her book from last year, The Flat Share, and recommend it to everyone, so I've been waiting for this book since last year!
📚 Escaping From Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco - I have started this, but as with the previous one, i need to be in the right frame of mind to concentrate on it, but I'm determined to finish this series by the end of the year!
📚 Hold Back The Tide by Melinda Salisbury - I read a sample chapter of this book in march, and I was intrigued by it, so I'm hoping to get to this soon.
📚 Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson - I read the first book in the series, this time last year, and it was probably one of my favourites of 2019 and I cant wait to dive back I to the world of Pip and Ravi.
📚 Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone by J.K. Rowling - I've been wanting to do a re-read of the series for a while, and what better time to start than during lockdown!

So there we have it, my April Wrap Up and my May To Be Read.
Here's hoping I read through that list, but please feel free to tell me your goals of the month!

I hope you're all having a good day and are staying safe.

Vanessa
